Thanks to everyone that came to shows on the Triple Threat Tour. We apologise for having to pull out of Brighton, Glasgow and Exeter but we really had no choice. To make it up to those of you in Brighton we are playing a FREE show on the 16th at the Hobgoblin with the fabulous Shoes and Socks Off. If you are able to help us by throwing some flyers around Brighton that would be great so please let me know.

So as most of you probably know Blakfish have done a Christmas single. You can see the video for ‘Missing you (the true meaning of Christmas)’ on the myspace (www.msypace.com/blakfish). It’s worth having a look at. We’re holding a big Christmas Bash in Birmingham at the Flapper on the 18th Dec, we’ll be playing with Shapes, All or Nothing, Soni Quella & Idiosync. It should be a lot of fun.

In other news Greatest Hits and the Crap bastards (James Moss, Boat to Row & Shoes and Socks Off) have recorded a Christmas track called ‘Merry Christmas, and a Crappy New Year’. You can listen to it now here (www.myspace.com/greatesthitshits) and it will be going up for free download over the next week or so. Greatest Hits and Boat To Row are playing with Copy Haho at the Victoria in Birmingham on Monday 14th.

Day one then! The two gigs yesterday went really well although it killed us! Our mate Sware is driving for us which makes things a lot easier especially when you turn up 15 minutes into your set. It was good to see the JoFo guys too and they were in exactly the same postive mood as us.

We drove straight to the Channel Tunnel via some services to get my bass off the This Town Needs Guns boys which was very nice of them to pick up for me. I can’t rememer most of the journey as I was taking full advantage of not having to drive. We caught the train at 7:30 then arrived in France at 9 local time. It was only a 3 hour drive to Tilburg from there.

The gig was actually pretty good, we were prepared to play to no one but out if the blue some people showed up. Video to follow.

Colour, Southsea and Europe

I am just sat outside Peckett’s house in the extremely over packed van about to set off to London for Colour’s last show. Got the website up this morning so we can upload stuff for your viewing pleasure!

Going to be a hectic few days as we’re playing Southsea festival in Portsmouth and Bristol tomorrow then off to Tilburg in Holland!

Hello rockers,

We’re currently all sitting in the office of the venue we played last, the weather outside is the best we’ve had so far which makes us idiots for not been in it.

The show last night was another banger, the Europeans really know how to put shows on. Frank (the promoter) and his crew greeted us with crates of beer, soup and tofu pasta, there was also a very energetic half blind dog to keep us entertained with throwing a stick i think the Germans call it fetch. The attendance was about 30 – 40 people, a girl in the crowed had a this town needs guns t shirt on and a tubelord bag… I’ll upload a picture soon. There was also a guy called Jan rocking his little head off at the front and I’m proud to say i gave his 154th broken drum stick. Apparently there’s a guy in the US with 2000 odd.

The journey yesterday was a breeze, with it only being 3 hours long and most of it on little roads. The only bad point was we had no sat nav in Poland so we had to head west and just hope for the best.

Anyway best be getting on the road, we have a 4 hour drive to a place in the Czech Republic that doesn’t exist on google maps.

We played at a really cool art squat commune thing. The venue was awesome. The weather is incredible, proper sunshine. The show was another cracker. We’ve done really well navigating around without our trusty sat nav. We’re waiting for some breakfast, not sure what we’re getting, I saw some green things put into a pan.
We’re definitely coming back to Poland.

We all got very drunk again last night. I fell asleep in a bar again. Rich went to a gay club, with a guy… How’s about that then. The others met some thirsty girls from Grantham of all places. They knew one of our friends Danny, small world or what. Scott was the most drunk I’ve seen him, it was hilarious playing very bad Mastodon covers with him and Peckett at 2 in the morning.
The hostel that most of us stayed at is incredible, I think I could very happily live here. Cracow’s a real nice city, we’re going to go have a look now, after Peckett’s put some clothes on.

So we had the worst drive of tour so far today. It wasn’t the longest but it was fucking gruelling. What should have been 5 and a half hours took nearly 9. The traffic was so bad we ended up getting out the van on the motorway and staging a 100 meter sprint. We also saw a car on fire. The Polish border was hilarious but I’ll let Scott tell that story… Poland’s countryside isn’t that different to back home but some of the buildings look like they should home Ras B Nesbitt.
Thank God the show was packed and went really well otherwise we would have all quit by now…
